Household accounts, 1818-1833.

Contains two volumes that provide detailed listings of household expenditures for the Bringhurst family from 1818 to 1833. A wide range of goods is mentioned, including food, clothing, textiles, carpeting, binding, "muslin for pudding bags," earthenware, "6 white bowls," wood, and fuel. Maintenance and repairs to the house are also recorded; for example, sweeping chimneys and mending a garden fence. Amounts paid for children's schooling are also noted. Expenses were placed in one of three categories: fuel, etc., clothing, and food.
